Ad Alta
Seaford’s Ad Alta characteristics are five personal development areas that guide students to ‘reach for
the heights’, gain independence and achieve their personal bests – both in and out of the classroom.
At the start of this academic year, we revisited
these with every tutor group to ensure our students
understood the importance of these as they
underpin all-round success at Seaford and beyond.
Our Ad Alta characteristics are:

Ambitious: Go above and beyond to achieve your
personal best
•
Resilient: Doesn’t give up, takes risks and learns
through setbacks
•
Collaborative: Respectful and supportive of others
in learning together
•
Focused: Engages and applies themselves fully
without distraction
•
Prepared: Ready, on time and with the right
equipment to learn
Students at Seaford should always aim to grow in
these personal development areas. To support this,
termly academic reports provide each student with
an Ad Alta profile so they can, together with their
tutors, identify their strongest characteristics and
those that need to be strengthened.
Ultimately, we want to help students to love to learn,
become lifelong independent learners and reach for
the heights… Ad Alta!
