Cafe Mauresque
If you’re looking for fusion cuisine that packs a punch when it comes to flavour then go straight to Cafe Mauresque. This restaurant has been providing the folk of Canterbury with a mix of Spanish and North African cuisine since 2004 and now has a host of loyal customers who flock to its doors for a flavoursome meal to brighten their day. From tapas to tagines and the classic Spanish favourite, paella, you’re sure to find something on the menu to excite your taste buds.
Take a trip into the lantern-lit cellar to experience the magic of Cafe Mauresque for yourself. With a menu packed full of fresh ingredients, many of which are locally sourced, it’s easy to see why this has become a favourite of Canterbury’s cool crowd. After 5pm from Sunday to Thursday, students can enjoy 15% off their food bill. Or go during the day and look at the lunch menu - perfect for a post-lecture pick-me-up.
