Specialist Sports at 13+ and 16+d
The College will also consider specific scholarships in more specialised areas such as Golf, Equestrian and Sailing for candidates able to demonstrate exceptional talent and potential.
Seaford College have very strong and successful equestrian teams competing in National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Show Jumping, Dressage, Arena Eventing and Combined Training. We regularly qualify at area and county level to compete at the nationals and won the National Team Final in both
2022 & 2023 at the prestigious interschools’ competition at the Royal Windsor Horse Show as well as being NSEA Show Jumping National Champions at 95cm and 110m. We train with Olympic Three-Day Event rider Kristina Cook at Coombelands, Pulborough.
To be considered for an equestrian scholarship, your child should be regularly competing successfully in show jumping or eventing at 80- 90cm for 13+ and 100-110cm for 16+.
The Application Process
Please submit a portfolio to include competition video and photographs, experience and results together with a reference from either a Pony Club DC or trainer.
Our Equestrian Manager will arrange to meet with the rider at a competition or training to talk further.
