Do you like being Head Boy?
Yes, I love it! It’s fun and an honour to sit in a special place at Assembly; being known as Head Boy; having the younger students look up to you. Your legacy is much bigger than who you are and you want to be remembered for your legacy, not for what grades you got. Some of the younger students call me Sir! I’m not Sir, I tell them.
What legacy would you like to leave at the end of being Head Boy?
Compassion, the freedom to be yourself. I want everyone to be able to express themselves (e.g. able to wear different coloured socks, ties etc.).

What do you like about Peer Mentoring?
I have always been closely connected to the Pink House, it’s a great place to have. I go when I’m stressed about work or I’m worried about something.
I like being a Prefect as you help the staff in some way, you give back to the community. We help with the lunch queue. It’s a nice thing to do. It’s good to get experience of responsibility and how to work in a group when you’re not the leader. It prepares you for working with different people in the future.
“The Peer Mentor training
was really cool. I thought the way they did the training wasquiteclever. Itwas great that Mr Follows was there supporting anyone who needed help during or after the process of submitting our emails. We had to say how we would fit the role; our life experiences and suggest why you would be good at the role.
I will be good for branching out to a wider age group; different types of people, different social groups. I want to help more in the Senior School rather than the Prep School as feel I can do more.”
