Your future
Preparing you for a new world
Research suggests that around a third of primary-aged children will be applying for jobs that do not yet exist, which, while an intriguing – some might suggest exciting – thought, poses something of a conundrum for those of us in the business of preparing young people for the future.
At Seaford, however, we believe that the fundamentals of what makes an effective member of society never change: integrity, work ethic, resilience and confidence are immutable and universal qualities that we seek to nurture in all our students, regardless of their skills and interests.
Our academic and enrichment programmes offer bespoke pathways in curricular and co- curricular activities that will allow all students to flourish. Whether it’s our state-of the-art facilities in sport, our long and proud tradition in music and the performing arts,
our vibrant and challenging outdoor education programme and CCF, or our bespoke Oxbridge and medical pathway in the Sixth Form, there is something here of benefit and enjoyment for all.
Our careers provision includes individual profiling for all students as well as one-to-one guidance in school for all Year 11 students. A Biennial Careers Fair and talks from visitors give students a broader idea of opportunities available, whilst an introduction to the notion of career paths and skills needed for the job market is presented within the Personal Development Programme.
It is a big, competitive world out there, but Seaford will help you to develop the knowledge and the qualities you need to succeed and thrive.
