GCSE Spanish
Spanish is one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world and, with it becoming more usual for people to travel to Latin America for business or pleasure, this vibrant language of salsa, flamenco and tango will always be a useful skill to master. Spanish music is entering our charts, Spanish film directors are influencing our media, and Spanish businesses are on our high streets.
Course Outline:
This course consists of 4 skillsaslistedbelow:
1. Listening (25% of the course,Ftier=40orH tier = 50 minute examination)
2. Speaking (25% of the course,Ftier=9orH tier = 12 minute examination)
3. Reading (25% of the course,Ftier=45orH tier = 60 minute examination)
4. Writing (25% of the course, F tier = 70 minute or H tier = 80 minute examination)
There are five themes covered:
1. IdentityandCulture
2. Local area, holiday and travel
3. School
4. Future aspirations, study and work
5. International and global dimension
