Seaford Sport
It has been another busy term of Sport where we continue to see record numbers of students
representing the College across our sporting pathway during the week and on weekends. Our sports
programme ensures all students, regardless of skill level, engage in either competitive or recreational
sports, fostering teamwork, self-worth and lifelong memories.
Academic Physical Education
This term, Year 12 A-Level PE students had a
practical day at Chichester University, applying
their knowledge of aerobic training and using the
university’s testing laboratories to conduct Direct
Gas Analysis. Sixth-Form students will also have
access to more university taster days over the next
few months. Mr Disley-May, Miss Teague, and Mr
Redman have been delivering YMCA Personal
Training to a small group of dedicated sports
athletes who are considering career paths in the
strength and conditioning industry.

county events. This year also saw Seaford’s debut
in the Chichester Corporate Challenge, where Prep
and Senior students competed in team road races.
Pre-season athletics is well underway, preparing
students for an exciting summer of competition,
with our first Athletics Diamond League event being
the perfect preparation for the upcoming season.
Cricket
This term, we congratulate Nantes Oosthuizen (Year
13), who has been awarded a Rookie contract with
Sussex CCC. This is a fantastic achievement, and we
can’t wait to see his progress. Another highlight of
the term goes to our U15 Girls Team, who qualified
for the County Regional Indoor Final. They put up
an incredible fight against a strong Bede’s side,
narrowly losing in a well-fought final. With the
Summer Term just around the corner, we look
forward to a packed schedule of fixtures, thrilling
highs and inevitable challenges.
Seaford’s Athletic Development Team provides
expert support, guiding students in strength and

or personal fitness goals, students receive tailored

being. With dedicated sessions available throughout
the week, Seaford remains committed to providing
the very best in athletic development for all.
Cross Country
It has been fantastic to see Seaford athletes from
Years 7 to 13 compete at the Sussex County Cross
