Lemon Challenge, with positive force
The Walt Disney in the US produced various classic animated films, such as “Dumbo”, “Forzen”, “Tangled” etc., In 2016, it launched the film “Zootopia”, acquiring countless support of young and old audiences, the movie cannot only for entertaining, but also inspire the warmth of love inside the heart, drawing lavish praises. The theme of the animation is abundant and diversified, however, its main topic of “delivery of love, embracing the positive power” is eternity. Love is the mental condition for human’s royalty, benevolence and affection, an inborn characteristic of human nature as well as the appealing theme as critical expression in the artistic activities for a long time for human being.
The theme of this competition for children’s painting competition is about the positive energy issue, “delivery of love”, which encourages all participating children to express their innocent and pure love by brushes. During the process of judging, we saw a lot of outstanding little painters with various themes of creation, reminding us to treasure the precious inborn gift. Only if people can build up brilliant interactions, can it maintain the precious resources of the earth and open the pleasure world for life. While stopping in the green tree on the earth, to feel the friendly unlimited caring with tenderness, breezing, whirling green leaves, and singing insects and birds, etc., everything with tranquil and contented odor, spreading into every corner of life. This is the creative thinking that civilized society shall have, as well as the gist and purpose of this painting competition of the organizer.
The contestants consist of four groups: lower grades, intermediate grades, higher grades and the junior high school for four areas of North, Central, South and East throughout the country. Concerning the selection criteria for this competition, 50% toward the painting skill, 30% toward the theme expression, and 20% toward the source material usage. Besides, it is divided into four stages of primary election, re- election, final, and general election. We pursued for prudent and equitable principles in order to offer all children participating with a transparent and objective competition experience. Besides, the organizer also looked forward to spreading the seed of love for transforming into the foundation of public welfare caring via this event in terms of creating a joyful environment full of love of humanity. The jurors attached importance to the painting skill of creative expression, and anticipated that children could experience love from painting life and think how to paint on the paper with the energy of transmission; meanwhile, children could learn not only how to observe and feel the concrete warming sharing and touching, but also the precious sustainable survival rule of human in the course of pursuing growth of life.
Concerning the painting awarded this time, it brought viewers into warming spaces visually and broke the fences between modern people and existing stereotypes by means of the transmitting the concept as well as leaded the public to experience the infinite imagination and creativity of children. Further, it triggered various fantasies around with the theme of creation through a variety of creative performance with different thinking to lead into pure and wonderful visual experience and environment. I would like to send my appreciation to the organizer to contribute to the community via love of transmission, which not only expanded the spirit view of children but also promoted the level of art of children, through this interchange event of art and painting. This is a really touching and meaningful charity activity.
