Farewell to Our House This summer’s alumni event was a great success! Over 100 brothers
on Greek Court attended, and counting undergraduate brothers, wives, families,
and representatives from NC State Greek Life, over 140 people
were there for the celebration. The brothers in attendance spanned pledge
classes ranging from the 1950’s to the 2010’s, which offered lots of
opportunity to reconnect and meet brothers from different generations.
It featured great barbeque, tours of the house and the exchange of great
stories, as well as a look through chapter scrapbooks and memorabilia
dating back to the instillation of the chapter in the 40’s.
The event allowed us to make a $500 donation to the Frankie
Lemmon School of behalf of the Delta Epsilon Sigma Chi Chapter.
The event would not have been possible without the help of the Greater
Raleigh Alumni Chapter, the NC State Greek Life Office, the planning
team, and everyone who helped and participated. Special thanks
to our sponsors Jeff Schneider ’67, Jeff Murison, Mike Doggett
’90, and Scott Fisher ’94. For photos of the event, please visit:
