Designed specif cally for race only applications and manu- factured from either seamless 8740 Chrome Moly or ARP’s exotic ARP-2000 metal.
High-Performance and Pro Series Head Bolt Kits
Available with a reduced wrenching hex or
12-point, wide area flanged head that
eliminates valve train removal for cylinder
head retorquing. High-performance bolts are 180,000
PSI (15% stronger than Grade 8), and Pro Series bolts are 200,000 PSI. Kits are complete with hardened, parallel-ground washers. Most applications include undercut short bolts.
Pro Series Head Stud Kits
All kits include aerospace quality nuts and
parallel-ground, hardened washers. Rated at 200,000 PSI ten- sile strength. Available with hex or 12-point nuts, 12-point are ideal when head is equipped with large diameter valve springs.
