from high-strength
iron, block may be used
with standard off the
shelf components, and fea-
tures a competition oiling system, extra-thick cylinder walls and decks, and choice of ductile iron or billet steel main caps. Choose from standard (9.800") or tall deck (10.200") versions in 4.250", 4.500", or 4.600" bore sizes.
 Affordable cast iron
SHP blocks are the
ideal basis for a bracket
or street/strip engine.
Blocks combine siamesed
cylinder bores with thick
walls, priority main oiling system with provisions for
stock oil filter mounting, scalloped water jackets for improved cooling, and thick decks for better head
gasket sealing. Blocks additionally are compatible
with OEM front and rear covers, and include OEM mounting provisions for starter, water pump, etc.

   Fully redesigned blocks
combine the benefits of
improved lubrication, in-
creased durability and added
versatility. Offered in aluminum
or cast iron, blocks use conventional,
4-bolt main caps and oil pans, while eliminating the problems associated with the separated crankcase bays. Redesign provides significantly stronger main webs, while allowing the cylinder barrels to be extended .375" into the crankcase for added piston support. Blocks are fully compat- ible with all stock and aftermarket LS components, and the stock oil pan may be used with Moroso oil pan spacers.
