DRAG RACING
Lightweight and compact, heat sink trans-
mission coolers are extremely effective in
reducing fluid temperatures. Compact, 3" dia.
coolers may be easily mounted to frame rails,
floor pans, etc. Coolers include 3/8" NPT ports
and integral mounting brackets, and are sold complete with barbed fittings. Offered with natural or black anodized finish.

Ideal for use as a automatic transmission
cooler, remote mount unit may be mounted
virtually anywhere space allows. Efficient, copper/aluminum tube cooler features a
built-in curved blade fan that delivers su-
perior air flow to increasing cooling efficiency. Durable units are rated at 250 PSI working pressure and 300 PSI of burst strength, and include male -6AN ports, Mounting hardware and hose must be purchased separately. Fans are set-up as pullers but may be reversed.
Atomic-Cool provides the largest tempera-
ture drop of any fan-mounted cooler and
may be used as an engine or transmission
oil cooler. “Radiator-style” fin-and-plate de-
sign and 8" dia., 400 CFM Tornado fan cre-
ate maximum heat dissipation. Coolers are 10" tall x 12-1/2" wide x 4" thick and have -6AN or -8AN inlets. Coolers include fan and mounting brackets. Kits add a fan thermostat, 10' hose, adapter fitting, and hardware.

Series 1000 Stacked-Plate Ram Air Coolers
Highly efficient stacked-plated ram
air coolers incorporate a scoop-style
shroud that captures and redi-
rects air flow for maximum cooling efficiency. Coolers utilize high-flow turbulators, furnace-brazed construction, integrated mounting points, and a black powder-coated finish.
Electra-Cool combines a cooler and a 10"
dia., 650 CFM Tornado electric fan for
increased cooling efficiency. Tube and
fin-style coolers are 10" tall x 12-1/2" wide
x 4" thick and have -6AN or -8AN inlets. Coolers
include fan and mounting brackets. Kits include fan
control thermostat, 10' hose, adapter fittings, and hardware.

Thermostat assemblies offer the ultimate
in control, helping to maintain consistent trans-
mission fluid temperatures. While in controlled closed
circuit when fluid temperatures are under 180°F, 90% of the oil bypasses the cooler and the remaining 10% flows through the cooler, preventing air pockets. When temperatures ex- ceed 180°F, the thermostat valve closes, allowing 100% flow through the cooler to control fluid temperatures.
