Ultra Torque Starters
DRAG RACING
Top-of-the-line starters are engineered to meet the demands common to hard core racing. The Ultra Torque uses a power- ful 3.4 horsepower electric motor and 4.4:1 gear reduction ratio to provide a whopping 250 ft./lbs. of cranking power, enough to start engines with up to 18:1 compression ratios, yet weighs just 10-1/2 lbs.
Ultra High Speed Starters
Powerful starters feature 25% more cranking speed for quicker starting and reduced “kick backs”. Well suited
to engines with magnetos or distributors with locked-out igni-
tion advance, starters combine
3.0 horsepower electric motors with
3.75:1 gear reduction ratio to provide up to
200 ft./lbs. of cranking power, sufficient to fire engines with up to 15:1 compression. Starters include a billet adjustable mounting block and weigh just 10.5 lbs.

Denso Style Race-Prepped Alternators
Powermaster’s smallest (93mm) and
lightest (5-3/4 lbs.) alternators feature
high output-to-weight ratios, delivering
up to 75 amps. Ideal for low amperage
requirements, alternators include a true,
one-wire hook-up and are offered in 12- or 16-volt versions.
All mounting points are precision machined for precise belt alignment and correct fit with Powermaster alternator brack- ets. Gold battery posts add conductivity, while low-drag, high- speed bearings increase efficiency. Alternators are offered with natural finish or special black, heat-dispersant coating. Pulley must be purchased separately.

able voltage control system that
allows compatibility with 12-, 14- or
16-volt electrical systems. Voltage may
be easily adjusted from 13.5-18.5 volts,
via an adjustment screw. Suited to street or
strip, kit may be mounted on either side of en-
gine. Includes alternator with pulley, mounting bracket, crankshaft pulley, drive belt, and necessary hardware.
Alternator Pulleys
Billet aluminum, single-groove V-belt pulleys in- clude deep grooves for maximum belt retention. Larger diameter pulleys reduce alternator speed for increased horsepower. Pulleys have a 17mm shaft bore and include a 17mm to 15mm reducer bushing to fit most alternators.
