Recommended when bolting an aftermarket torque arm to the OEM rear end or similar rear ends that use a long through-bolt design. Kit
fits 1982-02 GM F-Body (Camaro/Firebird), and includes longer 9/16” Grade 8 bolts to accommo- date the thicker torque arm mounting plates.
Note: Kit will not work with Moser 12-bolt rears. Use UMI2998 for Moser 12-bolt rears.

installation of larger tires. Laser-cut 1/8"
steel inserts replace a portion of the OEM
frame rails, following the frame contour,
while end enclosures are used to span from the repair to the original frame. Cutting, welding, and fabrication is required.

G-Body (Malibu/Monte Carlo/Cutlass/Regal/Lemans/Grand Prix), and are fabricated from 1-5/8” x .120” wall DOM mild steel tubing and fitted with greasable polyurethane bushings. Kit includes one pair of upper and one pair of lower control arms with choice of black or red powder coated finish. Upper or lower control arms may also be purchased separately.
