REAR SUSPENSION
Double Wide Birdcages
Made from 7075-T5 aluminum, Ti22’s Double Birdcages are among the most innovative cages on the market today. The cages were ultimately created to elimi- nate bind in the birdcage bearings. Bearing bind, created by twist in the birdcage, absorbs all-important horsepower that could be applied to the rear wheels. By distributing the weight between the two bearings, excess bind is eliminated, allowing for a more efficient transfer of horsepower to the rear wheels. The cages require the standard offset rear torsion arm offered by Ti22 as well as a custom rear axle. The rear axles are available from Winters, DMI, and Frankland.

Pro Birdcages
Ti22's Pro Birdcages are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a 28mm double-row angular contact bearing. The line features standard right and left cages, as well as the new Adjust- able Birdcage. The adjustable feature allows for adjustment of the Jacob's Ladder pick-up point to meet changing track conditions, giving racers a competitive edge.

USING THE ADJUSTABLE FEATURE
FOR A TRACK THAT IS TACKY OR HAS A LOT OF GRIP:
Move the Tune-n-Loc adjuster up on the birdcage to create less chassis roll, therefore letting the car roll the corner better.
FOR A TRACK THAT LACKS GRIP:
Move the Tune-n-Loc adjuster down on the birdcage to promote more chassis roll therefore creating more sidebite.
