Pushing Back an Award Approval Request
How Do I Pushback an Award Approval Request?
Overview
Award Setup requests are routed to the appropriate parties based on system configuration. The approval
process is a multistage framework with OSP manager approval being the first stage. Subsequent approval
stages are determined by the proposal type and the answer to proposal questions at the time of proposal
entry.
The approval framework allows for pushback to the originator. Comments can be added when returning the
workflow request. The Originator will receive the Workflow, make appropriate adjustments to the Award
Request and resend the workflow.
The pushback is different from the Denial action. In case of Denial, the workflow will need to be
initiated again and all approvals prior to the Denial will need to be routed and approved again.
