How do I Set up and Use Favorites?
Overview
The Compass system allows you save navigation time by “bookmarking” a designated page. This is a very
efficient way to navigate between pages in different components in Compass.
This explanation will show how to set up a favorite for the Journal Entries component. The same
procedure can also be used for other components.
Navigation
General Ledger > Journals > Journal Entry > Create/Update Journal Entries
Setting up Favorites
The Add a New Value tab displays

1. Click Add to Favorites in the
header of the page.
The Add to Favorites page displays. The Description
defaults to the name of the page you are adding as a
favorite.
2. If desired, change the description for
2 your favorite.
3 3. Click the OK button to create the
favorite.
Using Favorites
Navigate Using Favorites:

1. Click Favorites on the Home page.
