How do I Generate an Award from Proposal Version V102?
Overview
Once the V102proposal has been updated from the Notice of Award from the sponsor, you must send
information to the Award Profile and Customer Contract. The Award Generation process populates specified
information from the proposal into award tables in Grants. This process also maps proposal‐related fields in
Grants to fields in Contracts and Project Costing.
Within Compass, the proposal must be submitted before an award can be generated. The submission must be done from the
Award setup pages.
After award generation, set up the Project Budgets and SpeedCharts, award and contract to prepare the system for Billing,
LOC management and general award administration.
