How Do I Use the Grants Portal?

Overview

Grants Portal allows for PIs and their department admin to be able to view Award, Project and Transaction
information for Awards and Projects related to that PI. PIs are given access based upon their role on an
Award/Project and can provide access to the Portal for anyone who helps them manage their Awards/Projects.
Global Access will be provided to Central Users in FGC, OSP, and OTT and RAS Units. Processes are run nightly
to stage the information so that the most up to date information is included in the Portal.

Grants Portal allows users to search the awards by multiple criteria. The search criteria can be saved and used
later.

     Please make sure that you have been granted security access to Awards and Projects within Grants Portal. The Search will not
      bring up any data if the security hasnâ€™t been granted even if the search criteria finds applicable awards.
     Encumbrances and PreEncumbrance values in the Portal will always be $0.
