Robert J. “Bob” LaFortune ’44
was honored in May for his commitment to the arts in Tulsa whentheTulsaPerformingArts CenterTrust unveiled a portrait of the formerTulsa mayor,which will be a part of the Tulsa PAC’s permanent art collection.
Joe Moran ’70 was recently honored at Catholic Charites “Cooking-Up Compassion’s” 12th annual event for being a co-founder of the event. The event has raised over $7.5 million for Catholic Charities. Joe was also honored at the 10th annual Oklahoma Nonpro t Excellence Awards for being the founder of the event
which has given over $1.5 million to Oklahoma nonpro ts. He also celebrated the grand opening of the Domestic Violence Intervention Services Darcey and Joe Moran Counseling Center on March 30.
Larry Guthrie ’72, a 21-year member of the National Press Club, was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Special Libraries Association at their annual conference in Phoenix in June. He has been a law librarian at the  rm Covington & Burling for 22 years. Guthrie serves on the History and Heritage Committee of the Club and was on the committee that published Sachmo at the National Press Club. He is a member of the
National Writers Union as a freelance journalist. Guthrie has written about Woody Guthrie for This Land Press, the Tulsa World; and also in The NewYorkTimes. He has also written a book chapter and articles about medieval library cataloging and librarianship overall.
Kevin McMahon ’10 graduated from The University of Tulsa College of Law on May 5th and is now preparing for the Bar Exam.
Julia Metcalf ’11 recently completed her  rst year towards a Master of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary.

Students Tour Northwestern
Mary Erdmann ’19 attended a college prep program in July at Northwestern University. She completed a Focus Seminar in Bioscience Research. Jayne Kenney ’03 graduated from Northwestern in 2007 and is currently a graduate student working on her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Jayne met up with the Erdmann family and gave them a tour of Northwestern prior to Mary beginning her program. Jayne enjoyed reminiscing about Cascia with Mary and Henry.
Another Generation
Brian Rahilly was excited to coach the daughters of his former players,Vaughn Graham Jr. '99 and Jared Goldfarb '99, during camp this summer.
