3JOSH DODSON (John Darling): Josh is a 6th grader at Redding School of the Arts. He has performed in several North State productions, including Mike TeVee in “Willy Wonka”, Elf in the Cascade Theatre’s “Elf”, Tweedle Dee in “Alice in Wonderland” and the Lion in “Wizard of Oz”. Josh loves to learn new languages and won first place in a Chinese Speech Competition. He loves to sing, act and practice on his Karaoke machine. He loves to play soccer and baseball. He rides horses and considers himself the crash dummy when training their wild ponies. He loves to read to little kids and started a YouTube page called “Reading to Friends.”
4WHITNEY BRITT (Michael Darling): Whitney is 10 years old and is a 5th Grader at Redding School of the Arts. She is thrilled to be acting in her 1st stage production. When she is not rehearsing, Whitney enjoys playing her violin. Her other hobbies include soccer, ballet, riding her bike and reading, especially the “Winds of Fire” book series.
3JENNA NIKODEM (Mrs. Darling/Pirate Mullins): Jenna is 16 years old and a sophomore at Shasta High School, where she has performed for 2 years in the Madrigal Dinner. She was part of the ensemble in “The Music Man”, Maleficent in “Sleeping Beauty” and Chi-Fu in “Mulan”. She has always enjoyed being a part of plays and musicals. Being a part of Peter Pan has allowed her to make new friends and learn from an amazing director. Playing Mrs. Darling and Pirate Mullins is an experience she won’t forget! She’s grateful for this opportunity to grow and learn from someone so talented. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!
4THORIN HANSEN (Mr. Darling/Pirate Cookson): Thorin is looking forward to his first appearance onstage with the Riverfront Playhouse. In addition to acting, singing, and playing guitar, he enjoys playing tabletop roleplaying games and spending time with friends and family. Thorin would love to thank his director, Kyle Thurmond, for all the hard work he has put into this production. Thorin would also like to thank his family and his fellow cast members for the wonderful time in Neverland.
3GRACE COE (Liza/Tiger Lily): Grace is 16 years old, currently getting through sophomore year. She will be performing as the fierce native princess, Tiger Lily and the plucky maid, Liza. In the past she has been part of Redding School of the Art’s spring musicals (three years) and Shasta High School’s Madrigal dinner (two years). In her free time, Grace likes voice acting, digital art and animation, in is in the process of making her own animated short films (starring her voice). She would like to thank her parents, her brother, Gavin, and her pug, Silas for support. And Kyle especially for giving her the opportunity to perform in one of her favorite stories on stage. As for the cast and crew, Break a leg!
