Dear Friends of Horse of Hope Oregon,
We hope this letter finds you well. We are reaching out on behalf of Horses of Hope Oregon Therapeutic Riding Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing equine-assisted therapeutic services to individuals with cognitive, physical, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
We have the privilege of supporting over 125 participants weekly, and have witnessed first-hand the tremendous benefits our participants and families have been able to experience through their individualized programs. Each week we enjoy moments of pure joy and connection just like this picture shows.
Crystal has always been stoic during her rides, her expression rarely changing. Her favorite horse. Earl, steady and reliable, seemed to understand her quiet demeanor. One day, during a trail ride, Earl stumbled slightly, but Crystal held on, her balance unwavering. As Earl regained his footing, Crystal broke into the biggest smile anyone had ever seen - ear to ear. It was a moment of pure joy. Our work would not be possible without the generous support of local businesses and individuals who share our passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
We are excited to announce our upcoming Denim & Diamonds Barn Party & Auction on May 17, 2025, which promises to be a memorable evening filled with live music, live and silent auctions, delicious food, and plenty of fun. This annual event is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and all proceeds directly support the therapeutic programs we offer to children and adults throughout the community.
