   OUR PROGRAMS GROCERY STORE
2022 was an exciting year for the BBHH Grocery Store. We had 12,484 visits to our Grocery Store, more than any previous year to date. We distributed over 1.4 million pounds of food to our neighbors, equaling 1.2 million meals. While we had a soft launch of our e-pantry (online shopping and pick up) at the end of 2021, we saw over 100 unique families take advantage of the e-pantry program this year.
To serve our neighbors with transportation barriers, we began a partnership with Door Dash to offer neighbors access to fresh and healthy foods from our pantry delivered straight to their front door. In order to meet the need of our working families that were previously unable to access our Grocery Store during the day, we also started our rst Evening Grocery Store in April with 46 families, and we were serving over 90 families during the evening Grocery Store by the end of the year.
Alice began using the e-pantry at BBHH in August 2022. She loves all the food she
she receives from BBHH and the supplemental help it provides to her and her family. She is a
mom with two young twin boys and the e-pantry option is a better t for her family as opposed to traditional in-person shopping. If she did not have access to the BBHH e-pantry it would be very difcult for them to nd assistance that would meet their family's needs. “Thank you BBHH for the wonderful service that you provide to help feed my family; you have truly been a blessing.”
