Permanent Tank Specifications:
• Machined aluminum 3/8 in. withdraw fitting features 360° swivel poplock for hook-up convenience.
• Ethanol and biodiesel-corrosion and pit-resistant. Each tank is complete with molded fill neck and withdrawal/vent fittings molded directly into the shell.
• Fittings meet ABYC requirements and enable seamless connections with rigid low-perm hoses. UV rating of 8. Temp rating of -40oF to 176oF.
• Suitable for either gasoline and diesel use (With Diesel Return Kit/ ORDER NO. 615-35724-10)
• Hold-down grooves molded directly into tank shells for secure attachment with Moeller’s Permanent Fuel Tank Hold Down Kit #615-35710.
• Suitable as replacement tanks for boats built before 2011. If you own a later-model boat, contact Moeller or your manufacturer for direction.
CANADA’S MARINE SPARK-IGNITION ENGINE, VESSEL AND OFF-ROAD RECREATIONAL VEHICLE EMISSION REGULATIONS (MERV)
All “new build” boats must meet new emission & permeation requirements set out in the regulations for fuel tanks and fuel systems. Repairs to boats built after 2011 but prior to 2015 which are equipped with systems that meet the emission and permeation regulations of the United States EPA must not have these systems compromised through the use of non-emission certified components, while boats built prior to 2015 which do not have emission & permeation systems can be retrofitted with traditional fuel tank and fuel venting systems which have become the standard in Canada for many years. This would include non-barrier, below-deck permanently installed, fuel tanks & fuel handling lines. Standards are not applicable to portable fuel tanks & their associated fuel line.
