SOUND ABSORBENT PANELS SELF-ADHESIVE
QL sound absorbent panels effectively muffle engine noise. The insulation panels have a density of 100 kg/m3, which is just the right weight to absorb marine engine noise frequencies and noise levels. QL sound absorbent panels meet the fire safety requirements for CE marking.
The insulation material is protected by an oil-resistant film that is easy to clean. The foam plastic is impregnated to make it self-extinguishing, and to withstand a max. temperature of 200˚C (390˚F) It is important to fit the panels tightly together, using adhesive tape to seal
the joints to prevent noise leakage, or penetration of water, which could be absorbed by the material. The insulation is sold in rectangular panels: 20" x 40" (500 x 1000 mm), which are easy to transport and to apply.
