The Centerfielder II, when used with Max Charge Regulators, balances twin engine charging systems by monitoring the port and starboard voltage regulators. When both alternators and regulators are working, the Centerfielder II automatically designates the starboard regulator as dominant for both
alternators – making it possible to charge a single house battery bank with the combined output of both alternators.
The Centerfielder II eliminates the “yo-yo effect” of two regulators repeatedlyturning on and off as the battery approaches target voltage because the two systems are not working in concert.

Based on years of experienced engineering and rigorous, independent testing, the Smartgauge delivers dependable data even as your batteries experience extended use and cycling. Easy to install, and just as easy to program, the SmartgaugeTM takes much of the mystery out of battery monitoring; just select the program that matches your battery type, and the SmartgaugeTM automatically configures monitoring to your electrical system. Because of its proprietary computer modeling and battery testing techniques, the SmartgaugeTM remains accurate without need for re-synchronization. The bright LED display and simple controls provide a user interface that’s intuitive and understandable, even for the most inexperienced crew member.
SmartgaugeTM is equipped with low and high voltage and low charge state alarm outputs which can be used to activate audible or visual alerts (buzzers or lamps). The SmartgaugeTM can be used in 12-volt or 24-volt charging systems.
