“Scotty Downrigger” Power Wire is specially designed to exceed recommendations for cold bend flexibility, moisture, salt and oil resistance, heat shock, flammability and resistance to moisture capillary action.
POWERGRIP PLUS LINE RELEASES
The line release is the critical link between the downrigger and the fishing rod. If it does not perform properly you will lose both valuable fishing time and fish. The fishing line is gripped between the soft pads with variable release tension attained by moving the line in or out of the jaws. The line release is attached to either the weight or the cable.
Full range of release tensions, plus an adjustment clip that provides double the holding power if needed. Streamlined design won't snap on weeds or foul lines.
