Late summer and early Fall is an excellent time to get the listing process underway. Many buyers have been searching all season for that perfect fit but still haven’t found it. They will be ready to purchase if your property is priced right and meets their needs. However, if your timing just isn’t right until next Spring, then start pre- planning with your Realtor now. Photographs and virtual tours should be arranged now while the leaves are green or starting to change colour - then your property will show at it’s absolute best when it does get introduced to the active market.
Buyers
Fall can be one of the best times to purchase your Muskoka retreat. There is still lots of inventory to choose from and
many sellers become more motivated as the prospect of a long winter season approaches. Typically properties that have been on the market without activity will begin to reduce asking prices to be in line with current market values. And the best part is that buyers can often negotiate quick closings and look forward to enjoying those beautiful fall colours at their new property.
Today, timing and pricing for a successful outcome are more crucial than ever. Remember - sellers and realtors don’t set the price - the market does. Statistics show that if a property is over- priced it can take much longer to sell,
