Four Phi Beta Lambda student members placed high enough at the Oklahoma state level to continue on to travel to San Antonio, Texas and compete at the National Competitions. Sheryl Massingill competed in Retail Management, Trinity McReynolds competed in Marketing Concepts, Kim Strange competed in Hospitality Management, and
Angela Mullenax competed in Computer Applications.
The National Leadership Conference had additional activities for student attendees to include professional development workshops and networking events. The
conference was held at the Grand Hyatt hotel on the Riverwalk.
