Introduction.
Moving on from direct provision is another step on the journey to living independently in Ireland. This booklet will help guide you through the process and give you the necessary information to assist you with securing a new place to call home.
We are very aware that this journey is difficult. Finding a suitable place to live can be a complicated, frustrating process.
This booklet is designed to show you, step-by-step, the information you need to move on from direct provision. The Irish Refugee Council and our Housing Team are here to support you on this journey.
Please note that the information and the steps outlined in this booklet are the current process. But please be aware that rules are always changing, and some County and City Councils have their own way of working.
