Congratulations Seniors!
CROSS CANADY
Cross has been a student at Latin since kindergarten and he has been a proud member of the CLS basketball program for 5 years. Cross did not play last season but decided to return to the court for his senior year. His im- pact on the team was felt immediately with his work ethic and physical play. Cross has also represented the Hawks on the tennis court. The coaches will miss his fun spirit and team-first atti- tude next year.
DANIEL HAUGHTON-CAPTAIN
Co-captain Daniel Haughton has been a member of the Latin community and the basketball program since the 9th grade. In the past four years, Daniel has excelled in basketball, football and track for the Hawks. This fall, he earned All-Conference and All-State honors for the third consecutive season in football, and was named Conference Player of the Year. Although it’s his secondary sport, Daniel’s tenacity on defense and his leadership skills have greatly enhanced our basketball pro- gram. Daniel will move to New Hamp- shire next fall where he will attend Dartmouth College and continue to play football.
JAYLEN JONES-CAPTAIN
Jaylen has been a student here at Latin since 9th grade and has been a proud member of the CLS basketball program for 3 years, earning the role of co-cap- tain this year. Initially a football player
as well, Jaylen eventually chose to focus on his true passion and concen- trate on basketball. Jaylen has worked extremely hard on the court the last few years to grow and develop all aspects of his game. He leads the Hawks as the point guard, and the coaches will miss Jaylen’s infectious smile, his athleticism and his love of the game. Jaylen hopes to continue his basketball career in college next year.
