GIRLS SOFTBALL SENIORS

MADDI RHODES-CAPTAIN
Maddi joined the softball team her junior year and we are so thankful she was willing to try something new. Primarily a volleyball player, Maddi is a hard worker who is dedicated to improving her skills. She exemplifies all the qualities a team captain should have: taking responsibili- ty, being a model teammate, and always putting the team first with her willingness to play any position. Maddi’s favorite softball memories are the practice when we dressed in different costumes by grade level because it was so fun, and getting her first line drive because it showed her she could hit and because the energy flowing from the team in the dugout was incredible. Maddi plans to pursue her love of baking and pastry arts at Paul Smith’s College next year.
Congratulations Seniors!
CORA SNYDER-CAPTAIN
Cora is a 4-year varsity softball player who has been a great leader on the team, even before she became a cap- tain. She is inclusive, supportive, and always comes up with positive ways
to increase team bonding. Cora’s skill and confidence have grown with each game, and it was a thrill to see her make three amazing, run-saving catch- es in this season’s game at Charlotte Christian. In addition to her dedication to softball, Cora has excelled off the field with a challenging academic schedule, the Upper School musical, and her recent induction into Latin’s music honor society, Tri-M.
