DEVAN AMIN
Devan joined the team this year after a successful tenure on JV. Devan’s pow- erful serve and forehand are the foun- dation of his aggressive style of play. He has also learned to use his height and reach to his advantage on the doubles court. As a two-sport athlete at
Latin, Devan brings superb footwork
and fitness as a midfielder on the soccer team to the tennis court. His relaxed and easygoing personality make him a great teammate and friend to all, along with his positivity and an underlying com- petitiveness that make him deceptively dangerous in a match. Devan has been a great addition to the team this year.

CHRISTOPHER O’LEARY-CAPTAIN
Christopher has developed so much as a player in the last 3 years on the varsity team. He has always been a great mover with a consistent game. This year, he is mentally tougher, hits harder, and has developed a smoth- ering presence at net. Because of this, Christopher is now a key part of our lineup in doubles and singles. He is
a two-sport athlete who competed
in soccer for the Hawks, and is also
a leader off the court, representing tennis on the Student Athlete Leader- ship Team, serving as co-chair of our Aceing Autism service efforts, and is the primary content provider for our heavily-followed Charlotte Latin Tennis Instagram account.
