            COLLIN ADAMS
GOLF
Collin’s work ethic and ded- ication to the sport he loves took him from an unknown underclassman to one of the top players in NC. He is known as a “range rat” among his teammates and coaches be- cause of the time he puts into his game. He made the All- State team as a sophomore and led the state in scoring average for the season. Collin earned a second place finish in the Carolinas PGA Junior and a first place finish in the AJGA Junior Qualifier – earn- ing him the number 2 rank in the state. His ultimate goal
is to play on the PGA Tour but first, he will play at Wake Forest University.
Andy plunged into summer league swimming when he was five years old, and he says that it was all about “getting from point A to point B as fast as possible.” Andy competes with a quiet confi- dence that becomes explo- sive when he hits the water. Andy is the most versatile swimmer on the Latin men’s team. He can score at the state level in every stroke. As a freshman, Andy was 2nd in the 200 individual medley. He not only won the event the next two years, he set Latin and NCISAA records. Andy is very humble and the consummate team player. He’ll compete as a Bison for Bucknell University.
The YMCA was Mary Gale’s first soccer stomping ground, but she transitioned to Charlotte Soccer Academy when she was eight years old and has been with the club ever since. As a Hawk, Mary Gale has contributed
17 goals and 10 assists in just two (and a quarter) seasons. She generally plays left forward but moves to left- back when needed. She is fast, aggressive, strong, and skilled with both feet. Mary Gale is a generous teammate who is respected by all, and an unselfish, intelligent, team player. Her college search centered around smaller liberal arts schools that would mimic the experience she has had at Latin. Mary Gale will play with Rhodes College.
Lindsay made the transition to club swimming in 5th grade, but she continued to play field hockey and soccer for the Hawks. Once she chose to fo- cus on swimming, her perfor- mance exploded. Lindsay is a sprint freestyle specialist, with a light, quick stroke that looks effortless while producing enormous power. She holds two individual and two relay records for Charlotte Latin, and she is an Olympic Trials qualifier in the 50 freestyle. Her Hawk teammates rely on her as a relay anchor who will always either extend a lead or chase down the opponent. As a top-ten prospect in the class of 2021, Lindsay will compete for the University of Michigan.
