CAMERON KAPLAN
Cameron is a Latin Lifer and has been a proud member of the Latin basketball program for 6 years. He is respected by all of his teammates and coaches for his work ethic and can-do attitude. He is a young man who would do anything for the team and his defensive intensity will be missed next year. Cameron has made the headmaster’s list for aca- demic excellence throughout his upper school years.
BRANDON LAVITT-CAPTAIN
Brandon has been a student at Latin since 9th grade and quickly embed- ded himself in the CLS community.
He played a key role in the JV team’s perfect 23-0 season in 2019-2020 and has shared the role of team captain
for the varsity Hawks this year. B-Lav
is a fan favorite, in part because of his enthusiastic support of his fellow Hawks at other sporting events as a Spirit Club leader. He has grown into a role model and team leader, and the coaches will greatly miss him next year. Brandon will move to Pennsylvania next fall to play basketball as a River Hawk at Susque- hanna University.
JOHN PENCE
John is a Latin Lifer and a six-year member of the Latin basketball pro- gram. In addition to basketball, John has excelled on the gridiron for the Hawks. He was named a team captain for the CLS football team this year and helped them to a record of 8-3. His hard-nosed style of play on the court and his good-natured personality have made a big impact on this varsity team, and the coaches will miss him.
