WILLARD CONSERVATION was named as winners of
the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2016 for International Trade in recognition of their increased export sales, which in 2016 alone, represented more than 70% of the company’s annual sales.
The company was presented with its Queen’s Award by the Lord Lieutenant of West Sussex
To celebrate, Willard Conservation was presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise at a private reception held at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester where The Lord Lieutenant of West Sussex Mrs Susan Pyper, presented the award on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, to Managing Director Paul Willard.
Exporting to countries including Qatar, Australia, Germany, Austria, USA and Dubai, Willard manufactures a wide range of unique tools and equipment,
that are used by Conservation specialists to preserve and restore some of the world’s most famous and priceless art treasures. The products are all built in the company’s Chichester workshops, which have been home to the Willard family business for the last 60 years.

Winn & Coales International, established in 1883, remains an independent company and
celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2008 and its 130th anniversary in 2013. The company’s Denso® anti-corrosion and sealing systems have been used to protect buried and sub-sea pipeline, exposed steelwork, jetty piles and storage tanks in corrosive environments worldwide for over 85 years.
