INTERNATIONAL TRADE
Tsunami Axis
We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the awards committee for the honour this award represents.
Tsunami Axis is arguably the UK’s premier o ce furniture dealer. Formed in west London
by business partners, Rob Olding and Mark Cawthorne in 1999, it is based on a simple business premise: service and attention to detail. Having established partnerships with some of
the world’s most iconic and reputable furniture brands, we started expanding and winning prestigious contracts across the UK. We soon outgrew our Kensington o ces and moved to our current o ces in Fitzrovia. In our new home we were able to accommodate the people and resource to exploit our considerable experience and take our reputation into both established and burgeoning international markets.
Many of our clients asked us to assist them
in providing professionally executed, on time,
on budget o ce environments to support
their international business e orts. This saw
our teams working, and taking up temporary residence where required, in a variety of countries including India, Australia, Singapore, Ghana, Israel, Azerbaijan, Russia, USA and numerous European locations.
As the core business has grown we are

now able to o er local expertise and service across the UK as well as specialist furniture and equipment to support healthcare and laboratory environments. Our International team have a wide experience of varying markets and the unique challenges and issues that each present. We have developed relationships with local partners, where appropriate, to provide transport, warehousing and labour under the eyes of our
experienced, in-house project management teams who, in addition to project management and supervision, handle shipping and customs.
This year will see us move to larger o ces
to accommodate our growing team and create a space that re ects our personality as a company.
If you are the sort
of person who enjoys
a good night’s sleep knowing that your o ce
furniture project is in the capable hands of experienced, dedicated
and responsive professionals then Tsunami Axis are the international team to talk to.
