You just read the story of an incredible dog that lived in Scotland. Do you know where Scotland is located?
Scotland is a country situated in the northern part of Great Britain. In its southern side it borders England.
Scotland is formed by the mainland and hundreds of islands.
Most residents in Scotland speak English, but there are many who also speak Scots dialects (a dialect is a language of a specific group with its own grammar and pronunciation).
The most important cities in Scotland are: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, and Stirling. Edinburgh is the capital.
