Venus
it is the second planet from the Sun.
it has a solid, rocky surface.
named after the goddess Venus.
Sometimes it is called the morning star, or the evening star, because it is brightest at those times.
Venus is the closest planet to earth, at 25 million miles on average.
it is very similar to earth in both gravity and shape, and it is sometimes called earth’s sister planet. But, don’t be confused, they also have some huge differences. Venus’ atmosphere, for instance, is mostly composed of carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid. Sulfuric acid is highly poisonous to humans, because of its acidity and corrosiveness. another difference is the pressure on the surface. The pressure on Venus’ surface is up to 92 times that of earth.
This planet has no moons.
Venus spins in the opposite direction than the other planets in the Solar System.
Until the 21st century, many people believed that there was life on the surface, since the thick clouds made it very hard to see the surface.

The center of earth is very hot; there is no possibility any human could get close to it.
