The Japanese people are known around the world for being very disciplined, this is especially so in sports. Many different sports are practiced in Japan. The most traditional ones are martial arts like judo and kendo, but baseball and soccer are also very popular.
Have you ever seen a Sumo wrestler? Sumo is Japan´s national sport. This is a very old sport and a very traditional one; they wear a special silk belt and fight only with their hands. Their hair is also styled in a traditional way, like an old warrior. Most sumo wrestlers have to weigh around 100 to 200 kilograms.
