• Ordinal numbers are numbers that tell us the position in an ordered sequence.
1st first 2nd second 3rd third 4th fourth 5th fifth 6th sixth
Examples: I am in second grade.
My first grade English teacher was Ms. Johnson. I got third place in the spelling contest.
Read the instructions carefully.
• Color the first car red.
• Color the sixth car blue.
• Color the second car yellow. • Color the fourth car purple. • Color the third car black.
