saturn
it is the 6th planet from the Sun.
it’s the second largest planet in the Solar System.
it has 62 known moons. The largest of these moons is Titan, which is larger than the planet Mercury.
Saturn’s rings are made of ice, along with rocks and dust.
it has seven rings, a, B, C, d, e, F, and G. But since they were named in the order that they were discovered, their real order, from the planet out, is d, C, B, a, F, G and e. Galileo Galilei first discovered these rings in 1610. He didn’t think they were rings, but were actually three separate planets that touched one another. The rings aren’t solid, but are made of tiny particles instead.
one Saturn year is around 29.6 earth years.
Saturn’s name comes from the roman god of agriculture and harvest.

it has 11 rings, though these are hard to see from earth.
it is named after the Greek God Uranus, the god of the sky.
it can be seen from earth without a telescope if the weather and the time is right.
Uranus was discovered in 1781.
