• When you write it is important to find the correct word to transmit your ideas, but sometimes you need to use it more than once, if you use the same word it will sound tedious; synonyms are important because they help you tell the same idea in different ways.
• It makes it easier to understand the writer’s purpose.
Antonyms
• Antonyms are words that have opposite meaning.
• Antonyms are important in writing, because sometimes it is easier
to understand what something is, when you know what it is not.
Examples: beloved- hated astonish-bore annoy-aid acquaintance-stranger
