pendulums were created afterwards by Galileo Galilei. These made it possible for the minute hand to be added to the clock face. With time, clocks were so accurate, it was possible to add a second hand too.
if you look around your classroom you will probably see a clock. Think of everything that had to lead up for it to be made. it may seem simple, just arrows spinning around, but what made it possible was the work of inventors almost 5,500 years ago! and they still aren’t perfect. Who knows? maybe you’ll be the one that one day creates the world’s greatest clock!
