Have you ever tried to convince your parents to give you permission to do or buy something they don’t approve of? How about trying to convince your teacher not to leave homework? When you do this you are trying to persuade either your parents or your teacher.
You can do the same in writing; this means you can try to convince and influence the way the readers think.
• Imagine you are promoting a new music band, you are their manager.
• You will write a paragraph to convince a music producer to work with your band.
