3. Verbs
Verbs • Simple Present Tense
• Verbs are words that name an action.
When the action is happening “now” it is happening in the
“present”.
If we are talking about a singular noun (one person, place, or thing) most of the time we will add “s” to the verb.
noun we add “s” to the verb. Example: My goat eats grass.

If we are talking about a plural noun (more than one person, place, or thing) we will not add “s” to the verb.
noun no “s” to the verb Example: My two goats eat grass.
