Simple Present Tense
• When the action is happening “now” it is happening in the “present”.
• If we are talking about a singular noun (one person, place, or thing), most of the time we will add “s” to the verb.
Example:
we add “s” to the verb.
My grandpa reads. singular noun
• If we are talking about a plural noun (more than one person, place, or thing), we will not add “s” to the verb.
Example:
no “s” to the verb.
My friends tell stories. plural noun
