5. Writing Workshop Research Report
a research report paper is the result of an investigation; this means you are required to gather information about a certain topic.
To write a research report you should:
1. Choose a topic, some examples are:
a) endangered animals
b) animal habitats
c) famous Scientists
d) presidents
2. find information about the topic you chose.
3. make an outline to help organize your ideas before you start writing your report.
4. Write your report based on the information you gathered.
5. Your report should have three parts:
a) an introduction
b) a body
c) a conclusion
remember, every source you use has to be cited (books, encyclopedias, webpages, etc.). if you don’t, you are committing plagiarism.
