Adverbs
Adverbs are words that describe an action verb.
Adverbs can describe how, when, or where an action happens.
Examples of adverbs that tell how:
carefully, comfortably, quickly, quietly, beautifully, slowly, higher, lower, well
Goldilocks ran quickly.
How did Goldilocks run? Quickly Quickly is an adverb.
Examples of adverbs that tell when:
after, before, never, now, soon, today, tomorrow, yesterday, always
