Writing a Friendly Letter
A letter has 5 parts:
1. Theheading,whichincludestheaddressand
date.
2. The greeting always ends with a comma. It may be formal using the word “Dear” or informal, just using their name, depending on who you are writing it to.
3. The body, which is the main text, it’s what you want to tell the reader.
4. The closing, it’s a short way to say good bye, it always ends with a comma.
5. Signature, it’s where you write your name.
